Counselor

Bio

Alfred was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to north Texas in 1999. He has worked in the field of addiction treatment for over 25 years (Non-Profit and State jail offenders MTC unit). Most recently Alfred served as director in a youth and family program focused on prevention and intervention but his heart has always been directed to those who are in treatment and recovery. He is a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor intern. During his own treatment for addiction in 1985, Alfred moved to California where he developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and now feels that God has placed a calling on his life. His desire is to show those receiving treatment, just as he was shown, that there is hope, recovery is possible and they can live a life free from addiction. Alfred and his wife, serve as the Praise and Worship Pastors of their church as well as taking part in the church’s prison ministry. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children working on wood crafts and creating items related to his Native American heritage.
