James Roesch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate dedicated to working with individuals who are suffering from addiction and working with their families on how to best support them in their new recovery lifestyle. James believes that the presence of a healthy family system can offer the best possible family environment to help a person in his/her recovery from addiction. Through discovering unhealthy family patterns of behavior, family members can learn about what they can do to offer their best support for their loved ones in recovery. Each person can explore their own emotions and behaviors with the help of a therapist that uses a family systems’ perspective. James believes that the addicted person and the family members can come together to discover common goals that bring unity and peace back to their family system. James holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King’s University. James originally hails from New Orleans, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Health Promotions. He is the father of a blended family of six children. When he’s not working, he enjoys sailing, antiquing, gardening, and volunteering for and leading groups at his church.
