Continuing care or aftercare and the ongoing support are important for recovering people so they can continue to receive care and prevent relapse. Trevor’s House is a residential continuing care facility located in Fort Worth, Texas, within the DFW metroplex. We help men overcome drug and alcohol addiction and address the underlying brokenness through faith, community, structure, and accountability. We equip men with opportunities to develop healthy lifestyles to unlock their true potential. Trevor’s House is a recovery residence program that provides a sober living environment for men recovering from substance use disorders in a structured. Our sober living program is designed to give a safe space to our community of individuals seeking long-term sobriety. Trevor’s House is also structured to expose residents to learning opportunities designed to teach and strengthen life skills, as well as strengthen mind, body, and spirit with a Christian approach. Trevor’s House is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or age.
Trevor’s House aftercare programs are designed to provide our clients continuous care and a smooth transition from the intensive residential treatment setting to a home environment. Applicants for residency at Trevor’s House must have achieved sobriety for an extended period of time before approval for residency. The standards for applicant sobriety are as follows:
- 30 Days + Reference from Attending Counselor
- 30 Days + Reference from Sponsor
- Inpatient Rehab or Detox Facility
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- 12-Step Treatment Program
